More than just creating the best gin, vodka and aquavit we possibly can, sustainable by design applies not only to our packaging it’s a principle that defines the entire production process. While GRO is already recognized for its innovative, low impact packaging, we extend the same commitment to sustainability in how the liquid itself is produced.
The distillery is fully self-sufficient in energy. Located in a historic mill powered by a natural water stream, it now operates with a modern water turbine that generates all the electricity required for production. Any surplus energy is sold back to the grid, and additional electricity needs are covered by on-site solar power.
We source all our grain from local farmers with whom we’ve built long- standing partnerships. A batch of GRO can be traced back to the exact field where the grain was grown. As for the water every drop used in GRO comes from a natural spring on the distillery estate, drawn from an ancient well.

All GRO products are meticulously crafted using locally sourced wheat and rye. Our distillation process is supported by the pure spring water drawn from the distillery’s own ancient well. Working alongside some of Sweden’s leading spirits experts, we have carefully refined each recipe to achieve a perfect balance of botanicals,herbs,and spices capturing the distinct character of each spirit in the GRO portfolio.
GIN
Crafted in small batches, GRO London Dry Gin is our take on a classic style elevated with fresh, vibrant notes. Juniper and lemon provide the familiar foundation, while warm hints of cardamon and the brightness of locally grown sea buckthorn introduce added complexity. The result is a crisp, aromatic gin with extra depth, making it equally suited for sipping or enhancing cocktails like the Negroni.
VODKA
Our vodka is a true expression of craftsmanship, where balance and character are key. This small batch blend consists of 74% wheat and 26% rye, delivering a smooth, clean spirit with depth and personality. The result is a refined vodka that retains both softness and structure.
AQUAVIT
Rooted in the rich Swedish tradition, GRO Aquavit is a refined interpretation of a classic. With bold, balanced notes of cumin, aniseed, and fennel, it delivers a time- less flavor profile with a smooth, rounded character. A touch of dry Oloroso sherry adds sophistication and depth. Enjoy it alongside food in the traditional way, or use it as a unique base for cocktails.
